When we consider Search Engine Optimization (SEO), it may feel like we are about to embark on a trip to Oz.

For instance: the rules feel unclear and given to swift changes. In similar manner the Google search algorithm changes nearly daily according to John Mu, Webmaster Trends Analyst at Google!!

Some say earlier affects can be achieved when the “right actions have been taken”. Personally, I have seen this to be very difficult to actually do because you are going to be prevailing on high Domain Authority sites that rank between 80 and 100, for links to your site…this is something companies have paid thousands of dollars for!!! SO…not impossible, but “tigers and bears oh my”!! This is something we will discuss further in a backlink trial I will be attempting.

Others wonder what IS the SEO meaning? Well, that one is actually more straight forward. The idea has to do with where you show up on results for search pages for sites like Google and Bing. The earlier you rank, or show in the results, the more likely your site will be selected by the one making the query. The further down in the list your site comes up…the less likely your site is to be selected.
